Booking terms and conditions

Mission statement:

Our mission at Boom Studies is to provide the best possible experience for international students who wish to pursue a Language Course or Higher Education Program abroad.

2. Conditions of the educational reserve:

   a. Program: Boom Studies works with a curated network of educational providers, who offer accredited educational programs and who have a good reputation and track record in the destination country. Boom Studies does not provide these educational services, therefore Boom Studies cannot be held responsible for any breach of contract, quality issues or any other situation that arises between the student and the educational provider. In this regard, the educational provider is solely responsible for the services provided to the student within the scope of the terms and conditions agreed between the parties (i.e. the educational provider and the student), as Boom Studies will act as a referral company, directing our students to our network of curated service providers.

   b. Payment for educational programs: Payment in full must be received by Boom Studies no less than 15 calendar days prior to the start date. Students who have not paid in full prior to arrival will not be allowed to begin the program and Boom Studies will assume no responsibility in the event that students make travel arrangements before payment has been received. Boom Studies is not in a position to receive, allow check-in or give any assistance to any student whose payment has not been received in full as stated herein.

   c. Cancellation and Refunds of Educational Programs: If a student decides to cancel his/her educational reservation, this must be done in writing to Boom Studies no less than 21 calendar days prior to the start date. All payments made will be fully refunded to the student in accordance with our refund terms, except for 25% of the value of the course, or a minimum of 500 monetary units (Euros, US dollars or Canadian dollars, depending on the currency in which the course is billed).

   d. Accommodation: When booking a course with Boom Studies, the student has the option to choose from a range of accommodation providers, including Boom Studies' own accommodation options. If accommodation is taken with Boom Studies, the company's policies will apply and will be sent in a separate communication to the student. These policies follow all regulations and legal requirements of the destination country where the service is provided. If the accommodation is provided by a third party, then the rules and conditions will be specified by the third party and Boom Studies is in no way responsible for any problems that may arise between the student and the educational provider, as in this case, Boom Studies will act as a referral company, directing our students to our network of curated service providers.

   e. Other considerations:

   - Students are expected to follow all rules and laws of the countries. If a student commits an illegal act, he/she will be held accountable for his/her actions, before the local authorities, and Boom Studies cannot be held responsible in any way for any act committed by a student that is against local laws and regulations.

   - Visa and residency regulations are the responsibility of the various states, and the designated authorities are the only bodies that make any decisions regarding visa and residency procedures. While we at Boom Studies work closely with local authorities to have up-to-date information available to all, regulations can change without notice and Boom Studies cannot be held responsible for these situations which are completely out of our control. It is important that students understand these situations and have the flexibility to adapt their plans accordingly.

   - All students should have an active insurance policy at all times, as medical expenses can be high in other countries, and we never know when an emergency may occur. At Boom Studies we work with a wide range of insurance providers, and can recommend different options to students, however, students are ultimately responsible for policy coverage, inclusions and exclusions. Of course, at Boom Studies we are always available to provide general information on this and all other matters concerning student travel.
