1. Mission statement:

Our mission at Boom Studies is to provide the best possible experience for international students wishing to follow a Language Course or Higher Education Programme abroad.

2. Conditions of the educational reserve:

   a. Programme: Boom Studies works with a curated network of educational providers, that offer accredited educational programmes, and that have a good reputation and trajectory at the country of destinations. Boom Studies does not provide these educational services, so Boom Studies cannot be held accountable for any breach of contract, quality issue, or any other situation that arises between the student and the educational provider. In this sense, the educational provider is the solely responsible of the services rendered to the student in the scope of the terms & conditions agreed between the parties (that is, the educational provider and the student), as Boom Studies will be acting as a referral company, directing our students to our network of curated service providers.

   b. Payment of education programmes: Full payment must be received by Boom Studies not less than 15 calendar days before the start date. Students that have not paid in full prior to arrival will not be allowed to commence the programme and Boom Studies will not take responsibility in any way should students make travel arrangements before payment has been received. Boom Studies is not able to receive, allow check-in or give any assistance to any student whose payment has not been received in full as stated herein.

   c. Cancellation and Refunds of education programs: If a student decides to cancel their educational booking, this needs to be done in writing to Boom Studies not less than 21 calendar days before the start date. All fees paid will be fully refunded to the student according to our reimbursement terms, except for 25% of the course value, or a minimum of 500 monetary units (Euros, American dollars, or Canadian Dollars, depending on the currency in which the course is invoiced).

   d. Accommodation: When booking a course with Boom Studies, the student has the option to choose from a range of accommodation providers, including Boom Studies’ own accommodation options. If the accommodation is taken with Boom Studies, the company’s policies will apply and will be sent on a separate communication to the student. These policies follow all the norms and legal requirements of the country of destination where the service is provided. If the accommodation is provided by a third party, then the rules and conditions will be specified by the third party and Boom Studies is, in no-extent, responsible for any issue that could arise between the student and the educational provider, as in this case, Boom Studies will be acting as a referral company, directing our students to our network of curated service providers.

   e. Other considerations:

   • Students are expected to follow all the countries’ rules and laws. If a student commits an unlawful act, he/she will be held responsible for his acts, in front of the local authorities, and Boom Studies cannot be held responsible in any way for any act committed by a student that goes against the local laws & regulations.

   • Visa and residency regulations are the responsibility of the different States, and the designated authorities are the only bodies that take any decisions concerning visa and residency procedures. While at Boom Studies we work closely with the local authorities to have the proper updated information available for everyone, regulations may change without prior notice and Boom Studies cannot be held responsible for these situations that are totally out of our control. It is important that students understand these situations and have flexibility to adapt their plans accordingly.

   • All students must have an insurance policy active at all times, as medical expenditures can be hefty in other countries, and we never know when an emergency can occur. At Boom Studies we work with a wide range of insurance providers, and we can recommend different options to the students, nevertheless students are finally responsible regarding the policies’ coverage, inclusions & exclusions. Of course, at Boom Studies we are always available to provide general information about this and all other issues concerning the students’ journey.
