- To apply for your children's ID card as a Family Member, you must have financial support. The annual income that sponsors must earn in order to apply for Family Member is as follows: - 1 child + 2 working parents: €21,495.60 annual net income. 2 children + 2 working parents: €24,566.40 per year net income. 3 children + 2 working parents: €2,566.40 per year net income.7.637.90 per year net income. Please note that:

  • The agency may request additional documentation if necessary.
  • Documentation must be submitted in original format. Identity Malta Agency will only retain copies of original documents. Copies of passports and civil status certificates will be checked against the originals once the applicants are physically present in Malta.
  • Any documentation in a foreign language must be translated into Maltese or English by an official translator.
